Week 22 Weigh-in: New Exercise Plan

Image
My weight is up this week because of a new exercise plan.  I weighed this morning first thing after leaving the bathroom and it was a gain from last week, I decided to do my workout for the day which was a high intensity interval training. After the exercise, I bathe and weighed again and it was an increase on the scale. I wish to address this in my post today. I had been discouraged over and over about this issue in my journey towards losing weight. I mean, starting a new exercise plan with great expectations of a cooperation from the scale only for you to sight a bad gain at the first weigh in, urgh...

Valentine's Month Walking for Love

Image
The first month tagged #ProjectScaleDown was a huge success, save three days within the 31 days when I was down with flu I worked out every single day and I had a 4.2lbs loss to show for it, if I lost 4.2lbs consistently for 12 months I would be 50.4lbs less by December and trust me that is way beyond my weight goal of 145lbs.  I followed all the instructions as I spelled them out in my first blog this year and I am reaping it's benefits because the scale is going down. This is February, the month of love and I will love to give some love to this body. No stress, just some walking comfort for my body. I am intending to walk this month, 6 days in a week till I can attain 10,000 steps per day i.e. 5 miles approximately. I have my calendar designed and ready to be executed just like I did in January .  I have concluded tagging this year's challenges as #ProjectScaleDown , this is the hashtag you will follow on twitter and then the mini hashtag defines the month.

One Week Update: Day 7

Image
I have been walking with Leslie for approximately one week today, day 7 is my REST day. I have walked for 3 days consecutively and on the 4th day I realized I was calculating the minutes/steps wrongly. I had to also stop because I was not really feeling good and today being my doctor's appointment, I wanted to just complain to him and inquire if I can continue or what else to do to ease me of the recurrent headaches. I want to let him know how incomplete my life can be without exercising. I am trying my best on the diet front and trust I lost a smidge (0.5kg). Saturday morning I weighed in at 76.3kg as against 76.8kg which was my weigh in before the walk. I did measure my waist to be 35", I am looking for a smaller waist by day 30 of this challenge. What are you non scale goals before the year ends.
